EDC enjoyed a busy day at the Taiopenga Rapuara/STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Careers Fair at the University of Canterbury. We always enjoy engaging with the next generation of prospective engineers; answering their questions and sharing a few insights. We have attended this day annually for the last few years until COVID hit in 2020. Despite the present times it was great to see so many students present and keen to learn about career opportunities in engineering. It was also encouraging to see 92% gave the correct answer to our competition brain teaser; now all we need to do is draw one correct answer to win the Wonderboom speaker EDC put up for grabs.
