What You’ll Do:
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll be part of a professional team delivering high-quality consulting services across a wide range of projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills, and contribute to meaningful work that shapes communities.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
- Assisting with structural design and analysis for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications
- Collaborating with architects, geotechnical engineers, and other stakeholders
- Conducting site inspections and supporting construction monitoring
- Learning and applying NZ standards and engineering codes
- Participating in project planning and documentation
- Contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- A tertiary qualification in structural or civil engineering
- Internship or project experience is a plus—but not essential
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)
- A full, clean NZ driver’s licence
- You must have the right to work in New Zealand with no restrictions
