EDC was engaged to provide geotechnical services for the proposed redevelopment of the Turners site at 157–163 Moorhouse Avenue, Sydenham. With existing geotechnical data available but outdated, our team undertook a fresh assessment tailored to current standards and methodologies.
Our scope included a comprehensive review of historical geotechnical information, a detailed site walkover, and a liquefaction analysis aligned with the latest guidelines. These investigations culminated in a robust interpretative report, offering clear foundation recommendations to support the design and consent process.
By leveraging our deep local knowledge and technical expertise, we delivered timely, practical insights that helped streamline the development’s early planning stages. The result was a geotechnical solution that balanced safety, compliance, and constructability—ensuring confidence for the client and design team moving forward.
