EDC partnered with Fielden Metalworks to tackle the design and verification process for the striking façade for the new Lexus Showroom, located on Montreal Street in the CBD. EDC and Fielden worked collaboratively to develop a standardised folded aluminium sheet, each of which is punched with hundreds of the distinctive Lexus spindles. Load testing of the panels was integral to their design, with this being completed in house in the Fielden workshop.
The results speak for themselves as this Warren and Mahoney masterpiece has come to life with it’s beautiful cladding screens.
