The Horizon Energy Group Business Excellence awards celebrates the success of business excellence for emerging, small, medium and large businesses throughout the Eastern Bay of Plenty. These awards are biennial and provide the grounds for business to focus on continuous improvement through diversity, challenges and opportunities.
Recently the awards recognised business that achieved outstanding results and their commitment to the community. The awards also reminded us that business and community thrive on symbiotic relationships through innovation, service, sustainability, environmental impact and people.
Engineering Design Consultants (EDC) Whakatane is part of this community and entered these awards to showcase what it means to be passionate about this district, the people we work with and for, and the ability to produce results that are both sustainable now and for the future.
Our inaugural entry into the Horizon Energy Group Business Excellence awards gained EDC a Highly Commended in the Toi Ohomai Small Business Award.
