  3. EDC Welcomes Raj Patel

A warm EDC welcome to Raj who recently took up the role of  Revit Technician with the Christchurch Structural team.

Raj was born in Gujarat, India and moved with the family to New Zealand in August 2007 where he spent majority of his time living in rural Canterbury.  Raj’s folks are dairy farmers in Rakaia and coincidently this was also his first job (he tells us he doesn’t miss the smell).

Outside of work Raj enjoys movies and video games, but more so catching up with friends over outdoor activities such as hiking, skateboarding or even just a walk.  He’s always looking for new hobbies to try and likes to learn new things, the simplest being random facts.  For example, did you know that the brand name LEGO comes from the Danish phrase ‘leg godt’, meaning ‘Play Well’?
