Ever ones to embrace a challenge, several of our engineers have taken on Movember and lived to tell the tale. Growing facial hair to raise awareness for Men’s Health issues, we’ve seen a wide variety of creations across the Auckland, Christchurch and Whakatane offices.
Thanks to Nuno, Delane and Kostas for participating in a Movember team and raising money for the Movember Foundation. This funds a wide variety of Men’s Health charities including efforts against prostate and testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
EDC Social Club would like to congratulate all our participants – Nuno, Delane, Kostas, Chris, Mani and Cam. As an extra incentive, we have held a competition to reward the best hair-growing effort. After intense deliberation, the expert panel of judges has declared a winner. It was a close race, but the flair, elegance and majesty of Kostas’ moustache won the day. EDC has donated the winner’s prize of $50 to his Movember team charities.
