Tahoura Khansari

Geotechnical Team Leader
Auckland
BSc (Civil), MSc (Geotechnical), PhD (Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering)

Tahoura is a geotechnical engineer and acting team leader at EDC’s Auckland office. She has worked on a wide range of projects across New Zealand, with experience in geotechnical investigations, slope stability and liquefaction assessment, foundation and retaining wall design. Before joining EDC, she built her career in the infrastructure sector, gaining a solid foundation in geotechnical engineering. With qualifications in civil and geotechnical engineering and a PhD in geotechnical earthquake engineering from the University of Auckland, Tahoura combines technical expertise with a collaborative, solution-focused approach to delivering practical outcomes for clients and projects.
